Last chance to book for our final participant show Last chance to book for our final participant showcase where we join Bebhinn Mullins from the Clonmany Community Centre Donegal. Bebhinn has been working alongside a national social enterprise FoodCloud since 2018 helping to place a focus on food waste.
This initiative has naturally developed into a wonderful community project helping to highlight more sustainable food choices whilst helping to combat food wastage. Through their connection with foodcloud they have collected and redistributed over 7000 kg of food (the equivalent of almost 17,000 meals) and has almost 23,000 kg of CO2 savings as of the end of February 2022. @Clonmany Community Pantry has created interest from community organisations around Ireland.

Hosted by our facilitators Francine and Annette and followed by Q&A - To join please register through our eventbrite page see : https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/290824151867
Our next #seedofchange project is from @Muff Commu Our next #seedofchange project is from @Muff Community Development Co-Op Society Ltd. This project is planned to enlist, inform and educate volunteer participants to plan and deliver greater biodiversity in the local community.

Through the planting of wild-flowers, shrubs and fruit trees , they will display ecological and heritage information on identity, characteristics and traditional uses of flora, thereby improving the benefits that flow from the use of the walking/cycling route.

The longer-term aim of their work is to enhance the user experience and encourage more people to use the route. It is anticipated that, in addition to delivering health and wellbeing benefits, the enhanced amenity, through its availability to community groups and individuals, will raise environmental awareness and contribute to a greater sense of community.

Well done everyone one !! Inishowen Development Partnership @Donegal ETB @Irish Aid
