Seeds of change Grant Scheme
Details
We provide small grants for community groups and organizations to create and execute their own global citizenship projects based on the Sustainable Development Goals.
Topics covered include biodiversity, SDG awareness, Fairtrade, pollution, consumerism, social justice, migration, cultural awareness, and gender equality.
Categories
Under the Seeds of Change Grant Scheme 2023/2024 community members and community groups can make applications to receive a small grant that supports projects under three categories:
- Category I- Social Justice;
- Category II- Economic Justice; and
- Category III- Environmental Justice.
We encourage projects that address multiple categories to acknowledge the interconnectedness of local and global justice issues.
Applications should identify the ‘main category’ under which their project falls. If in doubt, queries should be sent to changemakers@inishowen.ie
ChangeMakers will strive to distribute the awards equally among the three categories based on the final applications received.
Mentoring
Final awardees will receive mentoring from facilitators based in Donegal to successfully execute their project.
Sustainability Passport
As part of the project, participants will be encouraged to apply for a Sustainability Passport Certificate to showcase their group’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
