In June 2022, a group of Donegal Change Makers attended a Walk & Talk event which we organised in partnership with Glenveagh National Park’s Education team. With an uncertain Winter ahead for many in 2022, the group attended a workshop and discussion with Architect and Activist Duncan Stewart to address the question: how do we reduce home energy costs? The group came up with these suggested actions based on what they had heard on the day. Actions discussed included:

Biodiversity Actions from the ChangeMakers Community

 

In June 2022, a group of under 40 Change Makers joined Aengus Kennedy of Nature North West and Duncan Stewart, environmental activist, architect and creator of RTE’s Eco Eye at Glenveagh National Park for a walk and talk event in partnership with the Education Team at Glenveagh. The Donegal change makers who attended Aengus Kennedy’s workshop came up with these recommended actions for protecting biodiversity.
